Tell me just how long I wait; tell me just how long I wait; I keep trying, trying
Tell me just how long I wait; tell me just how long I wait
I keep trying, trying, trying, trying.
I am the missile there’s no lid to keep my heaven hidden
Strike and defy – unless you wanna wait
I spit and whistle like a kettle cooking metal in it
Light and set fire, unless you wanna-
Ignite to get right, unless you wanna-
Tonight while it’s wild, unless you wanna wait
They see a riddle wantsta figure out and settle down - you
Fight the design – unless you wanna wait
Well here’s the pistol with a wiggle hide your children from it
Light and set fire, unless you wanna-
Ignite to get right, unless you wanna-
Tonight while it’s wild, unless you wanna wait
Set the weight down
I send the same sound
Oh what a weight
Oh share the weight round x2
Tell me just how long I wait; tell me just how long I wait; I keep trying, trying
Tell me just how long I wait; tell me just how long I wait
I keep trying, trying, trying, trying.
They think a cripple if a thing don’t match the mirror image:
“Try and refine”
Don’t start a ripple, detonate what’s in the middle, kindle
Light and set fire, unless you wanna-
Ignite to get right, unless you wanna-
Tonight while it’s wild, unless you wanna -
Get bright and incite, unless you wanna -
Alight and set fire, unless you wanna wait
Set the weight down
I send the same sound
Oh what a weight
Oh share the weight round x2
I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
